The New England Revolution are not the only team in the league that is getting in on the nut bust action this weekend.
The Houston Dynamo are the latest to bust a nuts nut.
The New England team that was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the MLS Cup are getting a break from the tournament after beating the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 on Saturday.
In doing so, they earned a spot in the next round of the playoffs, where they will face either the Colorado Rapids or Sporting Kansas City.
The Dynamo scored two late goals to take the lead, but a goal-saving effort by Dwayne De Rosario pulled the team back before the halftime break.
It was the Dynamo’s second goal of the match, and their first in nearly six weeks.
Houston came out firing, and De Rosaria had a chance to add a goal as the game wore on, but he was offside.
He was also yellow carded for a foul on De Rosaro, which was not shown on replay.
The Dynamo scored three times in the final five minutes of the game, but were unable to get a result.
It was an impressive effort by the Dynamo, and while it was a big upset, it was also an opportunity for the team to focus on the playoffs.
They will now play the first game of the group stage against the San Francisco Deltas on Saturday night.
