How to make nutting at home

You might think that nutting is the last resort, but it’s a good one to have in case you’re struggling with a peanut allergy or just want a little extra crunch.

We’ve rounded up some great nutting recipes that can give you that extra crunch without having to wait until a special occasion.1.

Coconut buttercream recipeThis is the most basic nutting recipe and the easiest to make.

It makes for a delicious and decadent dessert.

You can make a version with a nut butter cream instead of a plain buttercream, but we like to go with the creamy version.2.

Almond-milk nut buttercreamIngredients:2 cups almond milk (you can substitute coconut oil)2 tsp pure vanilla extract2 tbsp coconut oil1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk2 tsp coconut cream1/4 tsp almond extract1 tsp ground cinnamonToppings:3/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)1 cup shredded coconut1 tbsp unsweeten coconut milk1/8 tsp saltFor the almond-milky nut butter:1 cup almond milk4 tbsp pure vanilla1 tbsp coconut extract3 tbsp coconut cream2 tsp almond extracts3 tbsp almond extract 1/2 tsp ground nutmegToppings (optional):1 tbsp almond milk1 cup chopped coconut1 tsp unsweetening coconut milk2 tbsp almond extracts1/3 tsp ground almond nutmeg (optional, but you can substitute with ground cinnamon)2 tbsp waterTo make the almond milk:1/5 cup milk1 tsp pure maple syrup1/7 tsp vanilla extract1/1 cup of frozen walnutsFor the coconut-milks:1 tbsp pure maple sugar1/6 cup pure vanilla, or coconut sugar1 cup cold unsweetENZY SAUCE:1 stick (1/16 tsp) butter, meltedIn a small saucepan, combine the almond extract and the milk and stir over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, until the milk is thick and the almond extracts have dissolved.

Remove from heat.1 cup frozen walnut halves (about 1 1/4 cups)1 tbsp water2 tbsp pure sugar, plus more for garnish(optional)2 cups frozen almond milk(about 1 cup)2 sticks (1 1/8 oz) butter1/32 tsp pure cinnamonIn a blender, combine all ingredients and blend on high until smooth.

Refrigerate until ready to use.

For a creamy, nutty taste, microwave in microwave-safe container for 10 minutes at low power.
